Distilled in 2018 using only a pot still, nestled in the heart of a mountainous valley in the northern region of the country, this molasses rum unveils an exhilarating character. A tropical ageing of 4 years in bourbon casks in Venezuela, followed by a continental maturation of 36 months in Switzerland in Cornalin casks, gives this rum extraordinary characteristics. The first batch, “Cask No.27,” produced 381 numbered bottles.
Without any added sugar or additives, BANQERO BRUT Venezuela is defined by its robust aroma characterised by notes of roasted pineapple, and cane syrup and cooked vanilla. On the palate, ripe tropical yellow fruit is followed by a powerful, full-bodied structure of prune and candied fruit, and a long, spicy black cherry finish. A true raw aromatic bomb for the discerning enthusiast in search of intense flavours!
