The BANQERO BRUT Salvador is native to the fertile volcanic lands of El Paisnal. It is characterised by an exquisitely rounded and velvety structure. This molasses rum, distilled in a column still in 2015 and bottled in 2025, is currently the oldest rum offered by BANQERO. It benefits from a first tropical ageing of 6 years in bourbon barrels, followed by a second maturation of 48 months in Switzerland in Mitis barrels (a sweet white wine from the Wallis region). The first batch, “Cask No.11,” produced 326 numbered bottles.
Without any added sugar or additives, BANQERO BRUT Salvador presents a rounded and extremely harmonious nose, with notes of brownie, waffle, bergamot, and a hint of orange zest. On the palate, there are notes of cocoa, coffee, and vanilla, gracefully blending into a lingering and elegant finish marked by white oak and coconut. A rum that showcases a magnificent balance and exquisite sweetness, despite its alcohol content being over 55%… For the discerning epicurean!
